Cam Moore · Chief Operating Officer

I started on the front line. I still lead from there.

The people we serve deserve teams, systems, and programs that help them find freedom from addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. That’s the work I’ve given my career to, from the front line to the COO seat.

What I believe

Change one person’s perspective, and you’ve changed the world.

When someone starts to see their struggles and beliefs differently, their whole world changes. And it doesn’t stop there. It reaches their mom and dad, their children, their grandparents, their community. One healing belief, rooted in love, spreads further than we’ll ever see. Think about that. You’re literally changing the world. Not someday. Right then. That’s what drives me.

My story

I learned this work from the ground up.

I’m in recovery myself. That’s what brought me to this work, and why it’s a calling, not just a job.

Starting on the front line, I worked my way through nearly every role in this field to Chief Operating Officer, learning by doing rather than the traditional route, and always picking up the next book.

What we’ve built

Brought the revenue cycle in-house

Alongside a team of three, we moved billing, utilization review, and verification of benefits in-house.

Took admissions to the next level

Added referral source tracking and the metrics that matter. With our team, admissions grew significantly.

Helped launch outpatient mental health

Our team extended the continuum of care beyond substance use disorder treatment.

Stood up business development

Built with our team to grow the referral partnerships that help people reach the right level of care.

Co-built a long-term men’s program

Built from the ground up alongside a close friend.

How I lead

Whatever it takes.

“I’ve never felt like I’m above any job. I’ll jump in wherever I’m needed, whether that means leading a department or getting on my hands and knees to scrub a bathroom. I’ve never been someone who says, ‘That’s not my job.’ I believe leadership means being willing to do whatever it takes to support the team and the people we serve.”

No job beneath anyone

Every job matters, and every one is worth doing well.

Show up

Be present where the work happens.

Lean on your people

Big changes happen when a team carries them together.

“We can’t always see people’s pain, but they can always feel our love.”

Culture first

Take care of your team.

People in this field work shoulder to shoulder, so culture and teamwork shape the care guests receive.

  1. 01Care for the team
  2. 02Stronger engagement and a better guest experience
  3. 03Better outcomes
  4. 04Lasting recovery

“If you take care of your team, the people we serve get a better experience. That leads to better outcomes and lasting sobriety.”
